The Canadian-born actor rose to fame in the eighties. His hits included The Lost Boys, Dream a Little Dream and Licence to Drive. He was found at his Los Angeles apartment on Wednesday morning and was pronounced dead at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Centre in Burbank. Hain struggled with drug addiction and spent time in rehab, he once admitted: "The doctors could not believe I was taking that much, and that was just the Valium." The 38-year-old staged a revival in 2007 when he appeared alongside his friend and co-star Corey Feldman in The Two Coreys.
